Lesson #4 – Car Alternatives

Okay then, do we have any alternatives to gas cars?

What about electric Cars? 

Do they pollute the air? 

Electric cars have ZERO emissions, meaning there is no pollution that comes out of their engines.  However, they do rely on electricity and the giant plants (factories) that make electricity also cause air pollution because they burn oil or coal that goes into the air. But electric cars can keep our air MUCH cleaner.  I wonder why we don’t have more of them? 

Now there are lots more things that pollute the air, like airplanes and factories, but we are only talking about cars here.  

You might even start noticing things that are polluting the air around you. It’s good to be aware.
