Teen Activists to Research:

Greta Thunberg – a Swedish teenager, and an environmental advocate who speaks up about how humanity faces a crisis because of climate change. Greta has spoken at the United Nations and was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Autumn Peltier – is from a small island in Canada and advocates for freshwater after she learned about ocean pollution.

Isra Hirsi – is from Minneapolis, MN, and is a climate and racial justice advocate. Isra first got involved by joining an environmental club in her high school and then helped organize the U.S. Youth Climate Strike.

Katie Eder – is from Wisconsin and also helped organize the U.S. Climate Strike Coalition. Katie also has started other non-profit environmental and youth organizations.

Xiuhtezcatl Martinez – at 6-years-old Xiuhtezcatl started traveling the world advocating for the planet. He’s a lifelong environmental activist, a hip-hop artist, a published author, and the youth director of Earth Guardians, a worldwide conservation organization.
